Singular limit of non-isentropic magneto-hydrodyanmic equations
We study the singular limit of the non-isentropic compressible magnetohydrodynamic (MHD) equations without magnetic resistivity in three-dimensional bounded domains as both the Mach number and the Peclet number tend to zero. We establish the uniform estimates of local strong solutions for nearly incompressible flows with respect to both the Mach number and the Peclet number, then verify rigorously the singular limit from the full compressible non-resistive magnetohydrodynamic equations to the isentropic incompressible magnetohydrodynamic equations.
